Cheyutha Foundation for Organ Transplants (CFOT) is for people like founder, Bhagwan Reddy, whose lives have been changed irrevocably owing to kidney disease.

He was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease during his student days. The discovery traumatized my entire family. It costs some relationships that were close to his heart. He has battled with the disease for some time and managed to undergo a transplant when his aunt donated her kidney. She is his savior and she gave his life back.

It was a tumultuous journey. This journey made him go through the trauma of dialysis patients and kidney transplant recipients. He has experienced the difficulty in managing finances for medical care, pre- and post- transplant challenges, unemployment, long cycles of treatment, the subdued life and a lot more. In fact, a near unsurmountable wall of challenges. It led him to think, to rise and to extend a hand to support organ receivers. That's how Cheyutha Foundation for Organ Transplants was born.
